Scott Cole came to a crossroad in 2015.

Either keep his six-figure job as a Creative Director for Fortune 50 brands or chase his dream of being a broadcaster through a new opportunity provided by the NFL Network.

So Scott would leave his cushy job and take the eighty-percent pay cut with no guarantees to join the NFL Network on a new show called Madden NFL Live with Maurice Jones Drew and Adam Rank.

This would jumpstart a career that Scott thought was long behind him as the show would become the most watched show on the network on Saturdays in the 2015-2016 NFL season.

Known as the “Jim Nantz” of esports, Scott is very versatile.  Scott is the only personality that works with both EA Sports and 2K. He is also the only American play-by-play voice in the world of FIFA esports.

Scott has a background in motorsports including the play-by-play voice for LeMans esports in France and has also helped launch NASCAR’s esports league.

Scott started his broadcasting career in 1997 with the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars while being the voice of the John Brown Golden Eagles from 1997-2001 for all their sports programs.

Scott left the broadcasting world in 2002 to pursue the creative digital space and would create award winning creative for Fortune 50 brands from American Airlines to Verizon.

Scott would come back to broadcasting in 2015 while being discovered by the NFL Network for his content creation on both Twitch and YouTube in 2015. While he was also calling basketball, baseball, soccer and football for the Southern Conference on ESPN3.

Scott would go on to host his own radio show called The Scott Cole Show on WCCP in Clemson, SC. Scott was also one of the hosts for the pregame show for Clemson Football during their 2016 Championship run on the Clemson Sports Network of radio stations.

Scott left radio for his podcast which debuted in 2016 was named an editor’s choice for new and noteworthy and had over a million plays over the 42 episodes with guests from rookies to hall of famers.

Scott has also continued to work with brands as he hosted the red carpet for Nissan in their sponsorship of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.  He also helped AMC launch their premiere of Fear of the Walking Dead.

In the world of broadcasting, Scott Cole has called football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse and motorsports.

In the world of esports, Scott Cole has called Madden, NBA, FIFA, Rocket League, Forza Motorsport, Counter Strike, Call of Duty, Halo, PUBG, NASCAR Heat, Pro Evolution Soccer and more.

Millions of viewers have heard Scott’s play-by-play on ESPN, NBA TV, TBS, TNT and the CW with having four of the top ten viewed esports broadcasts on TV in 2019. Tens of thousands of followers and subscribers. Scott has a major influence in the 18-34 year old demographic.

Scott can currently be found as the play-by-play personality of Madden NFL, FIFA Eleague on TBS and NBA esports.
